Investigative Interviewing – Witness & Suspect

Swift Edification offers investigative interviewing courses for both witness and suspect at serious and complex level, with a range of interview skills training for interviewing victims, witnesses and suspects. Starting your journey from an ‘Introduction to Investigative Interviewing’ our experienced trainers will develop and enhance your skills in all areas and disciplines concluding in specialist and advanced PEACE-based interview courses. The training is delivered by subject matter expert trainers providing a ‘real world’ learning experience.

Our courses are bespoke to the needs of the client and include:

• Witness Interviewing including vulnerable and intimidated witnesses
• Suspect Interviewing along with PACE legislation
• Statement Taking

The course utilises a range of appropriate investigative approaches to gather material, placing the victim at the centre of all actions and decisions, to safely and effectively investigate serious and complex crimes with a view to achieving an appropriate outcome for that investigation. Our courses contain bespoke scenario-based assessments and role plays which conform to National Occupational Standards and College of Policing guidelines.
