The ‘Attendance Management in Schools’ CPD course aims to share effective systems, processes, resources, as well as how to tackle high absences, persistent absentees, and how to support others to implement key changes in their practices, to discuss and share challenges to drive improvement, making effective use of data, working with the local authority, and importantly ensuring all pupils are achieving to their potential reducing absences in schools.
‘Attendance Management in Schools’ is to promote a culture of excellent attendance, to be consistent in securing high levels of pupil attendance, identifying key challenges, and working together to remove those barriers with the parent/carer and pupil.
All the modules Swift Edification have developed for our ‘Attendance Management in Schools’ CPD course follows all the Government’s guidelines and therefore fits chronologically into the work carried out by Attendance Officers. The modules also mirror all the learning objectives as stated and cover all elements within the content.
Our resources have been developed specifically for this CPD course and have been approved and quality assured by the Education Welfare Service (EWS) who have deemed them of being to a very high standard and will assist those involved in the attendance and fixed penalty process (including civil actions and or prosecutions).
