The Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice provides you with all the skills and knowledge required to provide quality assurance of assessments and assessment decisions.
The IQA Award is an industry standard qualification, so regardless of the sector you wish to quality assure in, the IQA award will qualify you to do so.
Throughout the IQA Award, you will be learning how to plan and monitor the internal quality assurance of assessment decisions, learn how your organisation can maintain and improve the quality of assessment.
Unit 1 – Understanding the Principles and Practices of Internally Assuring the Quality of Assessment
This unit is a knowledge unit and will provide you with a thorough understanding on the internal quality assurance of assessment.
It is delivered entirely online via our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).
Unit 2 – Internally Assure the Quality of Assessment
Within this unit the trainee IQA is required to monitor two assessors, each with at least two learners of their own. We will integrate trainee IQAs into our own IQA systems where you will be IQAing our Assessor qualifications. This unit is primarily delivered face-to-face Based on a few hours of study a week, this course should take you around 6-8 months.
